Crystalbrook Bailey proudly presents Switch On, a group exhibition of handmade ceramic lamps created by emerging artists from TAFE Ceramics.
On display in the Crystalbrook Bailey lobby until Sunday 28 September 2025, Switch On showcases a series of handmade ceramic light forms that push the boundaries of function and form.
Each piece explores how light interacts with surface, volume and space. Through texture, pattern and colour, the artists enhance the sculptural qualities of each work, inviting a tactile and visual exploration of contemporary ceramic practice. From bold and architectural designs to delicate, organic shapes, the exhibition reveals the time, skill and experimentation behind each light’s creation.
Switch On offers a dynamic insight into the ceramic arts and the creative energy emerging from TAFE Ceramics.
Featuring works by:
Linda Gordon, Dorothy Gourlay, Nicole Elder, Catherine Louison, Joan Cleland, Margaret Lilley, Luisa Manea, Masae Iwagishi, Alisa Iwagishi, Kerry Miller, Christina Callaghan, Kathy Harris and Samuel Pilkington.
We invite you to join us for the exhibition opening night on Friday, 8 August from 6:00pm. It’s free to attend, with drinks available for purchase from CC's Bar & Grill.
