Byron Bay Beach Clean
Celebrate World Ocean Day and take three for the sea
Join us on Wednesday, 8 June, World Ocean Day to clean up our Byron Bay beaches. We’ll start at Crystalbrook Byron and walk down to Tallow Beach. At Tallow Beach we will divide into two groups and head in opposite directions down the beach for around 30 to 45 minutes.
Once we’ve cleaned up the beach will walk back to the resort for a complimentary morning tea of scones, tea and coffee. It’s our way of saying “thank you!”
On World Ocean Day, people everywhere can unite to celebrate and take action for our shared blue planet, with one ocean and one climate, which connect us all. Just like national parks help protect habitats and animals on land, marine protected areas help safeguard habitats and animals in the ocean.
