Sydney Harbour Hotel has checked out, for now.

A new five-star Crystalbrook hotel is coming to Sydney.

After years of welcoming guests to The Rocks, Sydney Harbour Hotel is now closed as we begin a transformation of the property.

In its place, a new five-star Crystalbrook hotel is taking shape. Like every Crystalbrook hotel, it will have a character all its own, shaped by sandstone laneways, harbour views and one of Sydney’s most storied neighbourhoods.

To everyone who has stayed, dined, worked, wandered through, or enjoyed the view from the rooftop, thank you.

In the meantime, you’ll find us in Sydney's Surry Hills, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Newcastle, Cairns, Adelaide (late 2026) and Canberra (early 2027).
