Crystalbrook Sydney is coming

A new five-star character is checking into one of Sydney’s most storied neighbourhoods.

Opening in late 2027, Crystalbrook Sydney will bring a new five-star destination to the heart of the city, with the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and Sydney Harbour all firmly in view.

The address has lived a few lives already. The heritage-listed Harrington’s Buildings date to the 1920s and, in 1984, became part of a new hotel built around the soaring central atrium still found at the heart of the property today. Over the years, the hotel has been known as Old Sydney Park Royal, Old Sydney Holiday Inn, Rydges Sydney Harbour and, most recently, Sydney Harbour Hotel.

Now, we’re reimagining the landmark address for what comes next: somewhere for locals to eat, drink and drop in, and for travellers to call home while they’re in Sydney.

Behind the familiar façade, the new hotel will bring together historic rooms and contemporary spaces, a rooftop pool with spectacular harbour views, new places to eat and drink, and that impressive central atrium.

And, like every Crystalbrook hotel, this one will have a character all its own. Shaped by sandstone laneways, harbour views and a neighbourhood that tends to reward a closer look.

We’re keeping a few things to ourselves for now. Curiosity is part of the fun.

Opening late 2027.
