- What time is check-in and check-out at Crystalbrook Byron? Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM.
- What happens if I want an early check-in or late check-out? Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability. Just let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate, whether you’d like to linger a little longer by the pool or head out a bit later.
- Is parking available on site? Is there a cost? We offer complimentary on-site parking, including accessible spaces.
- Are there EV (electric vehicle) charging stations? Yes, there are electric vehicle charging stations on site.
- Is there free WiFi / internet in the rooms and throughout the resort? Absolutely. We provide free WiFi in guest rooms and public areas, so you can stay connected seamlessly.
- 45 acres sounds like a lot of ground to cover. Can I see it all during my stay? You’re right. The resort sits across 45 acres of lush subtropical rainforest, just a short stroll from Tallow Beach (see resort map here). Meander along our elevated boardwalks and let the property guide you. You won’t get lost as the paths naturally loop back around. A full walk takes around 20 minutes. Our Experience Curators can assist anyone with mobility issues to explore the resort via buggy.
- Does Crystalbrook Byron have a shuttle service to Byron Bay town? Yes, we do. Our complimentary resort shuttle runs at scheduled times to take you into Byron Bay town. You’ll cruise in comfort in our electric VW van that’s smooth, quiet and just a little gentler on the planet, the way we like to travel here. See front desk to plan your journey.
- Are children allowed? What are the policies around extra beds / children? Yes, children are welcome. We offer interconnecting suites for families or rollout beds in select suites.
- What are the spa facilities, and how do I book a treatment at Eléme Day Spa? Eléme Day Spa is your sanctuary for complete relaxation. Indulge in massages, facials, body rituals, and full-day spa experiences, all delivered by our skilled therapists using natural, locally inspired products. On-site, you’ll also find an infrared sauna and steam room to elevate your wellness journey. To make the most of your visit, we recommend booking treatments in advance. This ensures you secure your preferred time and experience the spa just as you’ve imagined.
- Is the pool heated? Yes, our infinity pool is heated, allowing you to relax in comfort amidst the rainforest surrounds.
- Can I use the pool if I am not a guest of the resort? Pool access is strictly limited to resort guests and paying members. We offer day passes for locals who wish to use our pool. Please contact us for rates and booking details.
- What gym / fitness facilities are available? We have a dedicated fitness centre, open daily, equipped with cardio and strength gear.
- Does Crystalbrook Byron accept cash? We operate as a cash-free resort. Major credit and debit cards are accepted.
- Is breakfast included in the room rate? If not, what are the breakfast options / cost? Breakfast is included in some of our resort packages, or as an add-on at time of booking. If you do not have breakfast included in your booking and wish to add this, please contact us before your arrival.
- What dining options are available on site? We offer a few delicious ways to dine during your stay. Forest, our signature restaurant, serves contemporary Australian cuisine curated by Executive Chef Tiffany Jones, recently awarded Hotel Chef of the Year at the 2025 HM Awards. Forest is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For something a little more casual, nibbles and drinks are served poolside at the Blue Pool Bar. Prefer to stay in your robe? In-room dining is also available, bringing the flavours of Forest straight to your suite.
- I am not staying at the resort, can I still dine at Forest? Yes, absolutely. Forest is open to the public daily for bookings and walk-ins.
- Do you offer airport / transport transfers? We don’t provide a dedicated airport pick-up service, but our Experience Curators can assist with arranging taxis, rideshares or private transport.
- What is the pet policy? We currently do not allow pets on the property.
- What sustainability or eco-friendly practices does the resort have? At Crystalbrook Byron, sustainability is at the heart of our Responsible Luxury ethos. As an EarthCheck-certified resort, we focus on meaningful, everyday actions that minimise our footprint and honour the rainforest around us. We compost on-site, harvest our own honey from our resident V.I. Bees, and partner with local farmers, fishers and artisans to keep food miles low and flavour high. You’ll also find Climate Calories on our menus to help you make planet-friendly dining choices. Across the resort, we choose materials that tread lightly: recycled wooden key cards, upcycled cardboard coat hangers, and 100% waste-free bathrooms stocked with large-format, refillable amenities. It’s all part of creating a stay that’s both luxurious and kinder to the earth.
- Is there laundry / washer-dryer in the rooms? Yes, some of our suites are equipped with a washer-dryer (or laundry facilities), which is especially handy for longer stays.
- How safe / accessible is the resort terrain / boardwalk (especially for luggage)? Crystalbrook Byron is set amongst lush rainforest, with winding boardwalks that let you truly immerse yourself in the surroundings. While the terrain is natural and textured in places, there’s no need to worry, if you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns, our Experience Curators are on hand to escort you to your suite via our resort buggy service. Think of it as a VIP ride through the rainforest.
- Is there a cancellation policy or refundable rate, and how do I make changes to my reservation? Our cancellation and refund policies vary depending on the rate you book (flexible vs non-refundable). For changes or cancellations, please contact our Reservations team (or use the link in your booking confirmation), we’re here to assist with your plans.
