Breakfast at Polpetta brings a few Italian twists to its delectable morning menu. Highlights include the smoked Mortadella bagel with fried egg, Barossa halloumi and sweet chilli tomato relish or the beef, red wine, herb ragu with poached eggs, white bean puree, charred sourdough, and a scattering of Pecorino.
For dinner,Polpetta offers an Italian feast with antipasti, including Noosa mushroom arancini and beef and pork meatballs with tomato sugo, smoked Scamorza and grilled sourdough. Main course highlights include the seared braised lamb shoulder with creamy buckwheat polenta and the hearty casarecce with braised beef and herb ragu. End your night on a sweet note with a classic Affogato made with house churned vanilla bean ice cream with St Dreux espresso and biscotti.
On the drinks menu is a selection of aperitivo, including Italian classics Negroni and Aperol Spritz, an assortment of lavish cocktails and an extensive wine list featuring Pinot Grigio and Chianti from Italy, Chardonnay and Shiraz from Australia, and Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand.
