The Byron way, experienced in four days
Slow down and settle into the rhythm of Byron Bay with a thoughtfully curated four-day journey. From golden beaches and lush rainforest walks to vibrant dining, local culture and restorative wellness experiences, this itinerary helps you experience the very best of the region while making the most of your stay at Crystalbrook Byron.
Day 1: Arrival, Cape Byron Lighthouse and beach exploration
Arrive at Crystalbrook Byron. Nestled in 45-acres of magical subtropical rainforest, your resort is a celebration of nature, responsible luxury and the local environment.
After some time to settle in, head to the Cape Byron Lighthouse for incredible views of the ocean and surrounding areas. The lighthouse is Australia's most easterly point and is a great spot for whale watching during the winter months. You can either drive up to the lighthouse or take a scenic coastal walk from the town of Byron Bay. The walk takes approximately 2 hours return and is a great way to explore the coastline.
Spend the afternoon relaxing at your leisure, either at Main Beach or Wategos Beach, both of which are close to Crystalbrook Byron. Main Beach is the most popular beach in Byron Bay and is known for its great surf and lively atmosphere. Wategos Beach is a smaller, quieter beach that is perfect for swimming and relaxing. Both beaches offer stunning views and are a must-visit during your time in Byron Bay.
As the day draws to a close, settle in for dinner at award-winning Forest. Celebrating the flavours of the Northern Rivers, more than 80% of ingredients are sourced within a three-hour drive of the resort. With sustainably sourced seafood, free-range proteins, and produce supported by our herb gardens and bee hives, the menu reflects a conscious approach to dining shaped by seasonality, locality and care for the environment.

After class, savour breakfast at The Farm Byron Bay, a popular farm-to-table restaurant located just a short drive from Crystalbrook Byron. The Farm is a working farm that offers guided tours, as well as a restaurant that serves fresh and locally sourced produce. Enjoy a delicious breakfast while taking in the beautiful surroundings.
Explore Byron Bay’s much-loved regional markets, where local makers, growers and creatives come together. With markets held frequently across the region, it’s an authentic taste of local life.
In the afternoon, perhaps embark on a hike in the nearby Nightcap National Park. The Minyon Falls walk is a great option and offers some stunning scenery. The walk is approximately 7km return and takes around 3 hours to complete. Along the way, you will see some of the park's most stunning waterfalls and rock pools.
In the evening, head to the Stone & Wood Brewery for some delicious craft beer and food. Stone & Wood is a local brewery that offers tours and tastings, as well as a restaurant that serves tasty cuisine. Enjoy a beer or two while learning about the brewing process and sampling some of their most popular beers.

The one-hour flight concludes with a celebratory breakfast upon landing, a serene and unforgettable start to the day.
After a leisurely morning at your own pace, surrender to stillness at Eléme Day Spa. Here, wellness is more than a treatment, it’s a return to balance. Choose from deeply restorative facials, tension-melting massages, or invigorating therapies designed to stimulate circulation, detoxify, firm and renew.
