This four day itinerary allows you to immerse yourself in the very best of Byron Bay, from its stunning beaches and natural wonders, to its vibrant culture, cuisine, and wellness experiences. Make the most of your Crystalbrook Byron stay and enjoy all that this beautiful town has to offer.

Day 1: Arrival, Cape Byron Lighthouse and Beach Exploration

Arrive at Crystalbrook Byron. Nestled in 45-acres of magical subtropical rainforest, your resort is a celebration of nature, responsible luxury and the local environment.

After some time to settle in, head to the Cape Byron Lighthouse for incredible views of the ocean and surrounding areas. The lighthouse is Australia's most easterly point and is a great spot for whale watching during the winter months. You can either drive up to the lighthouse or take a scenic coastal walk from the town of Byron Bay. The walk takes approximately 2 hours return and is a great way to explore the coastline.

Spend the afternoon relaxing at your leisure, either at Main Beach or Wategos Beach, both of which are close to Crystalbrook Byron. Main Beach is the most popular beach in Byron Bay and is known for its great surf and lively atmosphere. Wategos Beach is a smaller, quieter beach that is perfect for swimming and relaxing. Both beaches offer stunning views and are a must-visit during your time in Byron Bay.

Heading back to your resort for the evening, dinner awaits at the award-winning Forest. Passionately local, over 80% of Forest’s ingredients come from within a three-hour drive of the resort. The environment also sits close to heart, with the restaurant using only sustainably sourced seafood and free-range proteins. They’re also doing their bit to grow, consume and compost with our on-site herb gardens, four beehives and seven Subpods.
