Fiume Rooftop Bar
One of Brisbane's most glamorous rooftop bars — Fiume, is an urban oasis with a killer cocktail list, craft beers, boutique wines, Italian-inspired bar snacks, and sweeping views of Brisbane's bustling riverside.
The chic outdoor bar and terrace, complete with spectacular infinity pool, is located atop the stylish Crystalbrook Vincent in the Howard Smith Wharves precinct. With its modern-yet-relaxed industrial setting and 360° views overlooking Brisbane River and the city, Fiume Rooftop Bar provides the perfect place to kickstart a night on the town.
Located under the iconic Story Bridge in the Howard Smith Wharves precinct is Mr Percival’s – an overwater wonderland with interiors by renowned designer Anna Spiro. The riverside bar oozes beach club glamour with indoor and outdoor spaces filled with palm trees and pops of green and pink.
Mr Percival's is one of the most coveted spots to sip an Aperol spritz as the sun sets over the scenic Brisbane River. Select from a mouth-watering array of cocktails, wines and beers whilst tucking into some freshly shucked oysters, a crumbed snapper burger or wood-fired pizza.
The Gresham Bar
As the only bar in Queensland with a heritage license — the Gresham Bar brings old world charm and a slice of history to Brisbane's CBD.
With its dark wooden floors, intimate lamp lighting, Victorian fireplaces, chesterfield armchairs and a bar with bottles stacked to the roof, this Brisbane bar has an air of tradition and sophistication.
It's a place known for its high-calibre list of Scotch, American, Japanese, and Irish whiskies, gins, rums, tequilas, and brandies. But that's not all — the Gresham Bar menu also offers a selection of wines, beers, classic and signature cocktails, and a menu of toasties, cheese boards and pub classics like steak and Guinness pie.
Cobbler Whisky and Cocktail Bar opened up shop in 2013, spurred by a passion and love of whisky. This West End favourite is small yet cool with exposed brick walls, vintage pendant lights and a long wooden bar, with an impressive selection of bottles lining its back.
The bar specialises in everything related to malted spirits: Scotch, Bourbon, Japanese, Irish, Australian, Indian, Taiwanese and American Single Malt. Cobbler also boasts an extensive range of spirits and one of the best cocktail menus in town.
One of Brisbane's best wine bars — La Valle, boasts a 200-strong wine list with Tuscan Chiantis, McLaren Vale Pinot Noirs, French Rosés, and everything in between.
Not only that, but La Valle has a list of Spanish cervezas, craft beers, premium spirits and a gourmet selection of vermouths and fortified wines. The small bar is ideal for a lunchtime drink in the sun or post-work tipple, with a delicious menu of street style focaccias, charcuterie boards and bruschetta — perfectly paired with a glass of your favourite wine.
Whilst wines are best enjoyed at this charming Fortitude Valley location, they are also available for kerbside pick-up or delivered straight to your door.
Two-time winner of the Best Live Music Bar in Australia award, Brooklyn Standard is open six nights a week and brings an eclectic line-up of live music acts to Brisbane's CBD.
The lively bar is set in a dimly lit cellar and accessed by a secret laneway door on Eagle Lane. Brooklyn Standard serves American-inspired grub, including a variety of burgers, gourmet fries, nachos, and chicken wings. Kick back with a cocktail, wine or tap beer and dance the night away to funk, soul, rock and roll and RnB classics.
Italian-inspired Bar Pacino is located on Brisbane’s Eagle Street Pier, overlooking the city’s famous Story Bridge. The relaxed restaurant and bar provide the perfect setting to experience the best of Brisbane city life, whether enjoying dinner with friends or hosting an intimate event, engagement party or wedding.
