Weather and climate in Far North Queensland

The Far North Queensland climate is characterised by two distinct seasons – the Wet and the Dry. The wet and green season is in summer from October to March with occasional monsoonal rain and temperatures reaching 25-38 degrees.

The dry season is in winter from April to September with azure blue skies, warm days but cooler nights – great for camp fires and star gazing. Temperatures can reach 20-30 degrees.
